Save "Up To 40%" On Flight Deals: It's Travel Deal Tuesday!

Black Friday and Cyber Monday may have presented you with a plethora of cut-price shopping deals – but if you love travelling, today is the best day to get deals on flights.
That's the conclusion of travel app Hopper, which analysed historical price data and found that November 28 will yield you the most attractive airfare bargains.
Catchily dubbed "Travel Deal Tuesday", last year's big day saw double the normal sales, according to researchers.
The previous year, sales were six times higher than an average Tuesday.
The boffins at Hopper reckon you could save up to 40% on flights today.
Global carriers are using this period to launch some seriously low fares. On Black Friday Air New Zealand offered up London to Los Angeles flights for just £175 through Topdeck Travel, but these sold out quickly. Ryanair presented some of the very cheapest fares on Black Friday, with flights from the UK to mainland European airports for £4.99. Meanwhile, easyJet placed half a million seats up for grabs with a 30% discount over the weekend.
But fares are increasing in general
There's nothing like grabbing a low-cost flight somewhere sunny, but there's even more reason to take advantage of Travel Deal Tuesday given that airfares are generally on the rise. Ryanair's mass cancellations in September, along with the collapse of Monarch Airlines saw fares rise; a good example of what happens to consumer wallets when the competition drops away.
How to find the best flight deals
Some super low flight deals are a little tricky to find, but luckily there are a number of specialist blogs and resources to help. Secretflying.com identifies some seriously tempting offers, as does theflightdeal.com. Scottscheapflights.com and fly4free.com are two more handsy resources for keeping track of the latest deals.
Bagging cheap deals today
New deals are likely to go live throughout the day, so you'll need to stay alert from now ‘till dusk if you want the very cheapest deals. It might be worth sacrificing your lunch hour though – to the tune of hundreds of pounds.
