Wedding Cover Explained

Ceremonial Items - Loss, Theft or Damage

If something should happen to your wedding or civil partnership rings they will be covered up to the value of the level of cover selected as shown in the table above.

Within your wedding cover, we also cover your outfit for the big day and any gifts that may get lost, stolen or damaged up to the cover levels outlined in the policy.

We like to go that one step further and  within our wedding cover, offer you the insurance that your other wedding accessories too including shoes, make-up, hair styling and flowers all bought especially for the couple to use on their ceremonial day during the trip are also covered.

 

Restaging Photographs, Video and Digital Media

If the booked professional photographer is unable to take photographs, video or digital recordings of your ceremony due to injury or illness or unforeseen and unavoidable transport delay then a reasonable additional cost will be covered as part of your wedding cover.

This will allow you to take the photographs, videos or digital recording at a later date, either during your trip or at a venue in the UK.

 

Replacement Photographs, Video and Digital Media

Sadly, sometimes the professional photographs, video or digital recordings of the ceremonial day might be accidentally damaged, destroyed, lost or even stolen during your trip.

We wouldn’t want you to have to go without those captured memories, which is why within our travel insurance with wedding cover, we will cover the reasonable additional costs of making reprints or copies of professional photographs, video or digital recordings of the special day.

Everyone’s situation is different, so it’s very important that you let us know about any pre-existing medical conditions when applying for your travel insurance.

If you choose not to let us know, you won’t be covered for anything that arises from, is related to, or has been caused by any pre-existing medical conditions.

We cover the whole world where it is safe to travel as defined by the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), so from the UK to the Caribbean we have you covered.

If your destination is considered too dangerous to travel to, then we are unable to cover these areas.
