Need golf club travel insurance abroad? Need golf insurance for other items of golfing equipment?

The best golf travel insurance cover is the one that covers you for your needs and golf equipment.

It is important that you select the best level of protection for you and the amount that will cover the cost of your equipment should something happen.

Claims for golf equipment including golf clubs will be considered on a new for old basis provided the item is less than 1 year old at the date of the incident. All other items will be subject to a suitable deduction for wear and tear and depreciation or we may at our option replace, reinstate or repair the lost, stolen or damaged item(s)

We may not pay your claim if you are unable to provide any original receipts, proofs of purchase or insurance valuations (issued before the loss, theft or damage).

You must retain all damaged items for inspection, if required.

As part of your golf insurance, Hole in One cover eliminates the risk of having to pay for a prize if someone makes a hole in one during your golf event.

If someone gets a hole in one on the designated target hole, your golf travel insurance policy will (minus an excess), pay for the prize.

Our golf travel insurance will cover your medical costs for injuries sustained caused by an incident involving a golf buggy, subject to the terms and conditions of the policy.

All Start Travel insurance policies cover emergency medical expenses and repatriation. The maximum amount that you are covered for, depends on the level of cover that you opt for.

By adding golf insurance cover to your policy, you will also be able to benefit from cover up to £500 (£50 per day), depending on the golf cover level selected, for the unused portion of your Green Fees if you are unable to use the facilities as a result of unforeseen injury or illness.

These are some exclusions that apply to golf insurance cover. For example, some causes of damage will not be covered, nor will it cover any claim if your golf equipment is confiscated or detained by Customs, the Police, the resort or other authorities.

For full details of any exclusions that apply to golf insurance cover, please see our policy wording.
