Our single and multi-trip travel insurance will cover some of your gadgets, but our enhanced gadget insurance for abroad will ensure that all your gadgets that you want to take away with you will be protected if they’re damaged, stolen or lost.

Regarding our single and multi-trip travel insurance, there is a limit to how much we will pay out. If you’re planning on taking a lot of gadgets away with you, you can can provide extra cover for your gadgets for a small extra cost by adding enhanced gadget cover to your travel insurance plan.

Keeping your gadgets safe when travelling

Whilst gadget insurance cover can provide peace of mind when you are travelling with expensive tech, it doesn’t avoid the upset and inconvenience experienced when gadgets get damaged or lost whilst on holiday.

Following these tips will help to keep your gadgets as safe as possible during your trip:

Back up all your data before going away and make regular back ups during your trip.
Purchase cases or screen covers for each of your gadgets to help prevent accidental damage.
Carry any gadgets in your hand luggage.
Ensure you have password, PIN or biometric lock security features switched on on devices such as tablets or mobile phones,
