Model Aims to Put Playboy Golf Shoot Behind Her with $500,000 Lawsuit
Most visits to the golf course are typified by a little gentle competition and light exercise set against some beautiful landscaping. But that wasn't the experience of one young lady, who allegedly had her buttocks struck by a golf club during a photo shoot for Playboy Enterprises.
According to TMZ, Elizabeth Dickson filed a complaint in Los Angeles Superior Court and is suing Hugh Heffner's famous business for US$500,000 plus punitive damages. The model was asked to lie on her front with a golf tee between her buttocks, whereupon a ball was perched on top.Co-host of the Playboy Morning Show, comedian Kevin Klein, then took a stroke at the ball, but missed and allegedly hit Dickson's behind.Ms Dickson won a competition to take part in the event and is not an official Playboy model. Reports say she suffered pain and anxiety after the incident, which took place two years ago during the Playboy Golf Finals at the Industry Hills Golf Club.Thankfully, few golfers will ever have to face such a situation, but taking out golf insurance for other on-course 'pains in the behind' is advisable.Golf travel insurance cover from starttravel.co.uk covers your equipment against loss, theft, damage or destruction up to £1,000.
