Best All-Inclusive 5-Star Hotels in Turkey 2022

Posted on Tuesday, 23 August 2022

Turkey offers a dazzling array of holiday activities, from visiting ancient ruins like Ephesus, to enjoying hot air balloon rides across Cappadocia, and exploring intoxicating cities such as Istanbul.

But, come summer time, most Turkey-bound holidaymakers are interested in one thing: beach resorts - ideally of the all-inclusive variety.

And, in fairness, Turkey boasts a great range of options - many of which match the very best of Spain or Greece.

With 5,000 miles of coastline - much of it on the Mediterranean - scores of resorts have developed over the years.

Indeed, Turkey is the 11th most-visited country for Brits, and arguably in the top 5 for beach holiday destinations.

While tourist numbers dropped off during the pandemic, numbers are beginning to recover well in 2022.

Wondering which of the many Turkey resorts to choose for your next beach break?

We've put together some tantalising options for your next holiday to Turkey, blending excellent beaches with superb comfort and amenities - and all attracting excellent online reviews.

Indeed, the common sign-off is "we'll be coming back next year!"

Note: Most of these resorts lie on the Turkish Riviera - an area that encompasses Antalya and Muğla.

Lara Beach, Antalya

Lara Barut Collection, Antalya

The vast Lara Barut Collection in Antalya on the Turkish Riviera is arguably among the best hotels in Turkey.

It enjoys hundreds of positive reviews on TripAdvisor thanks to its many swimming pools, water slides and child-friendly activities and clubs. And of course it’s right next to a quintessential Antalya beach.

The hotel features many beautifully-manicured green spaces, and rooms that offer all the mod-cons needed for a relaxing stay: iron, ironing board - even a hair straightener. The minibar is reportedly well-stocked, and the beds are comfy.

Many rooms also feature balconies with cushioned loungers.

The main pool is something of a party zone, with pool games and aqua activities set against ongoing music. However there are quieter spots - including a tree-shaded area near the slides. As usual, you'll need to arrive early to grab the best sun-lounger locations.

Drinks by the pool can be ordered on your mobile via a QR code, swiftly delivered by girls on rollerskates!

You can also attend yoga, dance fitness and pilates classes, not to mention aerobics, archery, and the gym.

Visitors leave rave reviews about the food - with a huge choice available in the buffet, the outdoor grill, and the Chefs' Tables. Vegans are catered to by the Zestful Bazaar.

Lara Barut's position as a leading Turkey resort is partly down to the fact it is new - and has been carefully designed to meet the needs of western European holiday makers.

Concorde Deluxe Resort, Antalya

Concorde Deluxe Resort, Antalya

The "Ultra-All-Inclusive'' Concorde is another Turkish resort that constantly seeks to improve its offer, going by many of the almost-5,000 reviews (most of which are Excellent). Inspired by the sleek, luxury aeroplane of the same name, this resort and its employees work hard to deliver memorable entertainment and great service - from the dancers to the housekeeping staff.

While the resort doesn't have the heart-pounding waterslides of Lara Barut (although it has one), it does feature 3,214 square metres of pools to enjoy.

The resort also has its own section of beach - fine, sandy and Blue-Flagged - where visitors can enjoy various water-borne activities, including diving and watersports.

In the evening, a variety of shows and parties are hosted by the resort, with the theme changing each time.

Rooms are described as clean and spacious, and many have sea views.

Like Lara Barut, the hotel is surrounded by beautifully-landscaped gardens and shading trees, offering natural respite for when the poolside cocktail-chaos gets too much. The Pier Bar is recommended for a breezy cocktail at sundown.

Reviewers were deeply impressed by the food choice - whether at the buffet, the main restaurant, or the six a-la-carte eateries (BBQ, Italian, seafood, Steak & Wine, Turkish and Far East).

Some minor drawbacks include patchy wifi connectivity, lack of free branded drinks at some parties, and repetitive music. Otherwise, it's one of the best five-star hotels in Turkey.

Titanic Deluxe, Bodrum

Titanic Deluxe in Bodrum is another resort named after a famous mode of transport, but, thankfully, staying here is likely to be anything but a disaster.

This fabulously-reviewed 5-star resort is located near Güvercinlik on the Pina Peninsula - considered one of the most beautiful bays in the region.

Boasting a spa and a private beach, the Titanic offers an outdoor pool, bars, restaurants and free parking.

The rooms feature all the mod-cons you'd expect, from kettles to slippers to robes, while outside you can enjoy the tennis court, fitness centre and games room - plus watersports and diving out on the coast.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can even try the increasingly popular ‘paddleboard yoga’.

In the all-important TripAdvisor reviews, the Titanic Deluxe receives a dizzying amount of praise. Phrases including "Best holiday in our life", "the service was 10/10" and "I will definitely go again to the Titanic Deluxe Hotel in Bodrum" suggest this Turkey resort deserves every one of its five stars!

Xanadu, Antalya

Describing itself as "High Class All Inclusive" Xanadu Resort sits on the beach near Antalya, and is somewhat unique "ancient Roman" in design. Columned walkways, an amphitheatre and ancient-style pools might not be everyone’s idea of tasteful - but the resort receives consistently high marks for location, cleanliness, service and value. Indeed, it ranks as one of the best hotels in Turkey.

As with the other hotels on this list, there are limits to what "all inclusive" actually means - with things like full body massages, other spa treatment and branded drinks costing extra.

No holidaymaker is happy unless they're eating well - and Xanadu produces the goods with a wide range of food, from burgers and sandwiches to Italian and Turkish cuisine.

The resort boasts three pools no deeper than 140cm and a lifeguard on duty most of the day. And as you might expect, the hotel has a private section of beach (where you can climb down into the sea by ladder).

Aside from lounging by the pool with a frozen cocktail, most of the evening's entertainment takes place in the amphitheatre where the shows were described as "breathtaking" by one TripAdvisor reviewer.

Accommodation includes rooms and bungalows typified by comfort, space and cleanliness.

Calis Beach, Fethiye turkish aegean coast,Turkey

Jiva Beach Resort Fethiye

Jiva is another heavily-praised resort, located on Calis Beach, Fethiye, where the entertainment team members were thanked by name in many of the reviews.

As well as taking care of issues regarding sunbeds, towels, air conditioning, and drinks, staff reportedly work tirelessly to ensure everyone has a fun, memorable time.

A great option for families, guests can expect a choice of pools and waterslides, pingpong, mini golf, and beach volleyball. You can even book a poolside room. However, be aware there are regular pool parties, so ask for a room away from the action if you prefer peace and quiet.

As with most popular Turkish resorts, the food is well reviewed, and the resort has three a-la-carte restaurants to choose from, plus buffet arrangements.

Little wonder it’s one of the best 5-star hotels in Turkey.

Rixos Premium Belek

Another Turkish beach resort with glowing reviews, Rixos Premium Belek boasts a private beach, eight bars, eight restaurants, a spa, and a 700-foot pool!

Divided into three sections - for games, kids and grown ups - the pool will undoubtedly be a centrepiece of any visit.

Other activities include guided walks, ju-jitsu lessons, pilates, parasailing, and free entry into The Land of Legends waterpark - just up the coast.

And if you can pull yourself away from this activity-laden resort, Antalya is just 50km away - where you can enjoy more beaches, waterfalls, plus the ancient city of Perge.

TripAdvisor reviews talk about the friendliness and diligence of the staff, from the cleaning service to the entertainment team.

Many reviews also mention they've been guests before - a sure sign that Rixos is in the Hotel Premier League!

Nirvana Cosmopolitan, Antalya

The fabulously minimalist Nirvana Cosmopolitan is just 6.2 miles from Antalya, built around a U-shaped beach and offering many seaview rooms.

Set across 27 acres, this sprawling yet superbly-managed 5-star hotel features super-modern design, ambient lighting, armchairs, and a minibar that gets magically refilled each and every day!

The resort even has its own pier that juts out into the shimmering Mediterranean, as well a sheltered beachfront bar and lounge.

And as you'd expect from a resort of this size, there are facilities for football, tennis and minigolf, plus a spa offering a hammam, sauna and hot tub.

The food also comes highly praised, with Mediterranean, Latin and Oriental restaurants available, plus a buffet offering a bewildering array of dishes.

And if you decide to rent a car (great if you plan to explore the local area), there's plenty of free parking. The Nirvana's TripAdvisor traveller ratings are extremely top heavy, with the vast majority being 'Excellent'.

Reviewers talk passionately of the superb food, the on-site waterpark, and the entertainment that changes every night.

The staff also offer a very high level of service, backed up by a special WhatsApp group to connect guests and staff.

Megasaray West Beach, Antalya

This 5-star "Ultra Inclusive Hotel" has delighted guests with super-friendly and attentive staff, countless amenities, and different entertainment every night.

For those who love to socialise while on holiday, there's karaoke, bands - and a 24-hour bar. But the fun isn't just for adults - there's also a mini disco for children in the early evening.

A babysitting service also means adults can enjoy some 'me time' while over in Turkey.

And of course there's a choice of top-rated pools to enjoy, plus the nearby beach.

Each of the 334 guestrooms feature minibars, LCD TVs, bathtubs, wifi and all the mod-cons you could want.

The hotel features four restaurants, including Pool Bar, where you can sip your favourite cocktail while in the warm water. And if you're feeling lazy, there's 24-hour room service.

The friendliness and dedication of the staff at Megasaray play a huge role in this hotel's superb reviews, with the vast majority being 'Excellent'.

Sherwood Exclusive Lara

Like the other hotels on this list, the Sherwood Exclusive Lara deserves every one of its five stars, boasting a private sandy beach with its own dock, and a selection of beautifully designed outdoor pools, slides, plus a Turkish bath and sauna.

For those who want to get the blood pumping, there are two outdoor tennis courts, and a fully-equipped gym.

This ultra-exclusive, all-inclusive hotel includes dishes at all five of its on-site eateries, plus selected beverages. With food being such an integral part of any good holiday, Sherwood caters to a wide range of culinary preferences. Options include Italian and Turkish cuisine.

According to some reviews a-la-carte dishes are not free - in contrast to most other hotels on this list.

Continuing the theme of high-end service, TripAdvisor reviews mention the attentiveness of the staff, as well as daily room cleaning, and imaginative evening entertainment that changes every day; the "Darts David'' event is a fun highlight.

Many reviewers recommend paying extra for a sea view, although you’ll still agree it’s one of the best 5-star hotels in Turkey, even if you get a garden view room.

LAUR HOTELS Experience & Elegance

Just down the beach from Altinkum, the LAUR HOTELS Experience & Elegance features three eateries, four bars and a full-service spa, plus free sunbeds and towels.

Air-conditioned rooms are available with either sea or garden views, and feature all the mod-cons you'd expect from a 5-star, including TV, minibar, bath and hair dryer.

Aside from the main swimming pool - which stretches out in a narrow strip parallel to the Aegean - there's a children's pool complete with super-fun water slides. For adults there’s the hammam, sauna, massage rooms and gym.

Out on the beach you can book watersports and diving.

And then there's the all-important food: and the tripAdvisorreviews are glowing. Choose from the salad bar, pizza bar, pasta bar and snack bar - among many others.

But perhaps even more emphatic were the reviews for the entertainment team (sometimes termed the animation team), who "are brilliant and made everything so much fun," according to one reviewer.

The same person stated they would "100% come back again," - the acid test of any good accommodation.
